Magic People

I have created many drawings for this Band including the cover for their record. Here is a flyer I just created. The inspiration came from the New wing at the MFA Boston and is a mash up of a Pre-Columbian statue and the clothing of a colonist.

Painted on Driftwood, this motley crew was created in between ideas and led me to the Pelt series. I imagined plucking these dudes into all sorts of situations. The names of the characters are taken from products in which Indians were used to promote products. My favorite name is Dippy Canoes aka Nibbles with the tag line "it's noble to nibble."

philosophical Tales part 1

In 2006 I was commissioned to create illustrations for Philosophical Tales by Martin Cohen. the book was published by Blackwell Wiley in 2008.

The Book had 30 chapters each with a different illustration plus the covers for both the English and Spanish speaking markets. the American cover is a DIEraul production.

The project was a lot of work requiring tons of research and various drafts for each illustration.
